You Already Have It!
Over the past few weeks I have pondered greatly on the verse, “[But GOD] hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.” Ephesians 2:6
How many times have you heard comments such as “one day I’m going to do something about that” or “somebody should do something about that.”
I would like to propose this thought…
That one day is today and that somebody is you!
Your world is in need of a change. The time is now, and according to Ephesians 2:6, we have the authority we need through Christ inside us!
Many of us do not understand or value ourselves enough to believe we can make a difference in our communities, much less our world.
I beg to differ…
The bible states that Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father making intercession for us (Romans 8:34). This symbolizes the authority we have access to!
But… there is a process.
Walking in this authority requires us to live uncomfortably, refusing to settle for complacent Christianity. I’m thankful for each place God has helped me walk through, but settling for the world’s standard will simply not cut it. We must realize we serve a God who reigns in a kingdom where resources are unlimited.
Change will not fall in our laps - it lies behind the door of our willingness to go obtain it. Let’s refuse to wait until tomorrow and make things change today!
So this week’s challenge is to…
Go deeper in devotion
Allow faith to arise
The white house, CNN, nor Fox News can be the answer any longer.
God’s people united together as one is and always will be the answer!
