A New Perspective

I believe that knowing who we really are has the power to change everything and anything.

I believe that one of the main issues we have as Christians in our world today is the lack of understanding of who we are in God and how He sees and loves us.

If we know and believe what God has to say, then we will not believe what the world has to say. We will stop caring about what anyone else thinks or says. The fear of man and thoughts of man will go.

“You are dangerous to the enemy when you value what God says more than the affirmation of others.” Brian Simmons

I believe that if we know and believe in our heart what God thinks of us, our eyes will be open to a whole new perspective. We can replace the worldly lenses with a new set of spiritual lenses. A new sense of freedom will begin in our daily lives.

Our fears & insecurity will fade away.

It is important to God that we know and believe what He thinks of us. He tells and reminds us through stories, words and songs all throughout the Bible. He wants us to know who we are in Him, how He sees us and how He is in love with each of us in a deep way.

The bible is full of love letters to us and about us that God carefully and specifically breathed down for us. He has given us a guide to know the depths of His love for us. In this season of life, the Lord has been highlighting certain things to me to show me how He loves me.

I am made by Him and in His image.

God Himself made YOU AND ME. He formed us in our mother’s womb. He knows every hair on our head and every pour on our skin. He created us in HIS image. He formed us together specifically with great detail. HE MADE NO MISTAKE.

He made us complete and whole. He made us a finished project and is well pleased. We are daughters and sons of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords - the Maker of the Universe. He looks at us and calls us beautiful.

I have challenged myself to be careful with my words. To speak beauty instead of depression, to speak life instead of death, to speak light instead of darkness. I am learning how to not speak or think critical things about myself. I am learning how to believe in my heart that the Creator of the Universe made me, and I am perfect to him. No matter how I feel or what I see - He sees me as beautiful.

I am enough, just as I am.

I challenge you to speak life over yourself. To speak beauty over yourself. You were made by the Creator, you are a beautiful and whole creation. He has made no mistake with you. I challenge you to dive into His word. Allow him to highlight the ways He loves you and what He thinks of you. Take off the worldly lenses and put on a fresh pair of spiritual lenses. It is time for a new perspective.

“I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.” Psalm 139:14
